Yuming Zhang
Hello! I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health under the supervision of Prof. Tianxi Cai. I received a Ph.D. in Statistics from University of Geneva in Switzerland in 2024, advised by Prof. Maria-Pia Victoria-Feser. I obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in United States in 2017.
My research focuses on the development of simulation based methods which enjoy desirable statistical properties (particularly bias correction) and computational efficiency, allowing for accurate statistical inference when handling large and complex data. I am currently interested in extending these methods for the analysis of EHR data. Another line of my research investigates time series related methods, which have broad applications in fields such as engineering and medicine.
